In this introductory course, you will learn everything you need to know to perform the basic functions of a Health and Safety Representative. You will learn about the structure of health and safety in New Zealand, and the rights and responsibilities of various parties. Stage 1 is the only training required to become a health and safety rep in a New Zealand workplace, but each additional stage adds to your portfolio, building your skill set and improving your employment prospects across all industries.

• Unit Standard 30265 - Apply health and safety risk assessment to a job role

Our stage 2 training expands on risk assessment methods and teaches you how to identify hazards in your workplace. Stage 2 will take your skills to the next level, putting you a cut above the rest.

Stage 3: - $275 including GST

• Unit Standard 17601 -  Produce an occupational health and safety incident investigation
• Unit Standard 25042 - Prepare a workplace health and safety improvement plan using data analysis and productiviy measures. 
• Our highest level of training, Stage 3 is perfect for those love a challenge. This advanced course will give you the skills you’ll need to conduct incident investigations, and prepare workplace improvement plans, allowing you to make a lasting impact on health and safety practices in your workplace.
